Description
This adapter has a 30″ straight cord with your choice of connector for connecting a headset on one end, and a 10 foot cord with a USB plug on the other. The inline PTT comes with default programming to output a game controller signal. This button can also be programmed for keyboard outputs, Windows commands and more at our factory. Works with most operating systems such as Windows and Linux as a standard plug-and-play device with no specialized driver files required. This adapter can be modified for simple mic mute, additional buttons, rocker switches, joystick PTT options and more.
Here are some programming examples:
Mic Mute/Unmute
The button can be programmed with key combinations such as ALT+M to mute the mic during Zoom meetings.
Google meet requires CTRL+SHIFT+5 to turn the mic on or off. (Information take from this link.)
For Webex, Ctrl + M for Windows or Command + Shift + M for Mac to mute and unmute yourself. (Information take from this link.)
For Skype, CTRL + M (Information take from this link.)
Please let us know what specific output you require. We can also build these with two or more buttons so you could have one programmed one way, and another programmed for another way.
